چکیده

This paper presents a novel interactive multi-level planning strategy for the energy management of distribution networks with clustered microgrids (CMGs). CMGs are group multiple renewable resources that comprise various technologies, such as photovoltaic systems, wind turbines, micro turbines and electric vehicles. study develops an innovative optimization framework coordination between in lower level, clusters finally systems upstream upper level. Accordingly, hourly optimal (HOEM) system is applied to minimize multi-objective objective function each The level may be operated islanded or grid-connected mode some hours. decided by changing switches MGs, clusters, grids, while only mode. Moreover, demand response program has great effect on modeled proposed model tested actual systems. results show significance this techno-economic aspects power transaction operation.

Providing a comprehensive energy management strategy for operation of multi-microgrids considering uncertainty of the fault occurrence

Today, the increased use of distributed generation units along with the storage devices as well as telecommunication enhancements have led to the formation of microgrids and thus multi-microgrids (MMGs). In this type of networks, the probability of the fault occurrence in different places of the network is not out of expectation, and it can be argued that the failure of the network not only inc...

Detailed Modeling and Novel Scheduling of Plug-in Electric Vehicle Energy Storage Systems for Energy Management of Multi-microgrids Considering the Probability of Fault Occurrence

As an effective means of displacing fossil fuel consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) have attracted more and more attentions. From the power grid perspective, PHEVs and PEVs equipped with batteries can also be used as energy storage facilities, due to the fact that, these vehicles are parked most of the ...

A Multi-Agent Based Approach for Energy Management in Microgrids

A shift to a decentralized power generation mainly based on Renewable Energy Sources (RESs) is essential to meet the climate protection goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The fluctuating generation of RESs poses challenges for the stability of the electrical grid. Therefore, energy management systems (EMSs) are essential to cope with the volatility of RESs through an intelligent coordi...

Optimal bidding strategy for microgrids in joint energy and ancillary service markets considering flexible ramping products

Due to the volatile nature of wind and photovoltaic power, wind farms and solar stations are generally thought of as the consumers of ramping services. However, a microgrid (MG) is able to strategically integrate various distributed energy resources (DERs) to provide both energy and ancillary services (ASs) for the bulk power system. To evaluate the ramping capabilities of an MG in the joint en...
